Training is a key part of the Order of the Arrow program. Through the wide variety of available trainings, new members can learn how to take advantage of the opportunities available to them, youth leaders can learn how to run a successful lodge or chapter, advisers can learn how to support and guide the youth, and any member can learn more about the rich history and broad scope of the Order of the Arrow. Training is how we communicate tried-and-true methods of running a quality program and prepare the next generation to take on the leadership of our multifaceted Order.   

The 2021 Ti'ak Lodge Leadership Development Training is for both youth and adult members of the Lodge.  The event will be held September 25-26, 2021, at Camp Tiak.  The cost of the event will be $15 which covers all meals for the weekend, the event patch, and training supplies.  As a reminder, any Scout considering to run for a lodge officer position at the 2021 Fall Ordeal must take this training as per the Lodge Rules adopted in 2020.  All participants are asked to bring their own tents and should plan to camp one person to a tent.  All Covid safety protocols will be recommended and followed.  Dress for the entire event is the full BSA Field Uniform with OA sash.  This event will begin at 8:00 am, Saturday, September 25th and conclude at Noon, Sunday, September 26th.  At the conclusion of this event, the Lodge Executive Committee will hold its monthly meeting.  All members of the Lodge are invited to stay and observe how the inner workings of the Lodge take place.
